Meet Carl Bentley
Carl Bentley is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) at Healing Minds Psychiatry in London, Kentucky.
Carl’s journey into the counseling profession was deeply influenced by his own recovery from addiction and grounded in a strong sense of purpose inspired by his faith. Carl specializes in substance use treatment and brings a well-rounded foundation in supporting youth and the broader community with both mental health and addiction-related challenges.
With hands-on experience as a mental health and substance use clinician over the past two years, Carl has cultivated a therapeutic approach that is person-centered, collaborative, and rooted in empathy. He is committed to creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can gain insight, build resilience, and take meaningful steps toward lasting recovery. In addition to earning his LCADC and supervision designation, Carl has also completed EMDR training to further expand his trauma-informed care approach.
